MHT-CET exam pattern
MHT-CET is a computer-based test conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell for 200 marks in each group, with no negative marking. PCM students take Mathematics (50 questions × 2 marks) and Physics + Chemistry (100 questions × 1 mark); PCB students take Physics + Chemistry and Biology (100 questions × 1 mark). Each paper is 90 minutes. Students in this batch take MHT-CET after Class 12.

The plan covers the full Class 11 syllabus by 31 January 2028, revises it for college exams in February, and then runs CET-pattern tests on the Class 11 chapters in March, so Class 12 starts with your 20% Class 11 share already secure.

How much of MHT-CET comes from Class 11?
Under the current pattern, about 20% of MHT-CET questions come from the Class 11 syllabus and about 80% from Class 12. Securing the Class 11 share early makes Class 12 much lighter.
Is there negative marking in MHT-CET?
No. MHT-CET currently has no negative marking, so every question should be attempted. Maths questions carry 2 marks each; Physics, Chemistry and Biology questions carry 1 mark each.
Do you cover both PCM and PCB groups?
Yes. Physics and Chemistry are common, Maths is taught for PCM students and Biology for PCB students.
Will the new Maharashtra syllabus affect this batch?
Maharashtra is introducing a new, CBSE-aligned Class 11 curriculum from 2027. We teach from the textbooks the board prescribes for 2027-28 and follow the MHT-CET syllabus the CET Cell publishes, updating our plan if anything changes.
Are classes in Hindi, Marathi or English?
Classes are taught in Hinglish, a mix of Hindi and English. Notes, DPPs and tests are in English.
Will lectures be live or recorded?
