JEE Main & JEE Advanced: exam pattern
JEE Main Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) is a 3-hour computer-based test with 75 compulsory questions, 25 each in Physics, Chemistry and Maths (20 MCQs + 5 numerical), for 300 marks: +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one. It is held in two sessions, January and April. Top JEE Main candidates qualify for JEE Advanced, the entrance exam for the IITs. Students in this batch take JEE in Class 12, in 2029.

How the Class 11 JEE study plan works
The plan covers the Class 11 JEE syllabus by 31 January 2028, revises it for school exams in February, and then moves to mixed JEE tests in March so Class 12 starts with Class 11 fully revised. Two JEE-pattern tests a week track your rank and accuracy all year.

Is Class 11 the right time to start JEE preparation?
Yes. A large share of JEE Main and Advanced questions come from Class 11 topics such as mechanics, physical chemistry and algebra, and they are hard to catch up on in Class 12. Starting in Class 11 gives you two full years of practice.
When will I take JEE Main?
In Class 12. For this batch, JEE Main 2029 Session 1 is expected in January 2029 and Session 2 in April 2029, followed by JEE Advanced. Exact dates are announced by NTA.
Does the batch cover my Class 11 school exams?
Yes. Concepts are taught at board level first, and there are board-style tests and a February revision block before your annual exam. Both CBSE and State Board students can join.
Are classes in Hindi or English?
Classes are taught in Hinglish, a mix of Hindi and English. Notes, DPPs and tests are in English.
Will lectures be live or recorded?
All three subjects are taught live, 5 days a week with 2 classes a day. Every live lecture is recorded, so you can rewatch it until 31 March 2028.
What if I miss a class or join late?
Recordings of all past lectures stay in your batch until 31 March 2028. If you join late, a counsellor on 8805137327 will plan your catch-up schedule.
