CBSE Class 12 board exam 2028: pattern & marking
The CBSE Class 12 board exams are expected in February–March 2028. Under the current scheme, Physics, Chemistry and Biology carry 70 marks for the theory paper and 30 for practicals, while Maths and English carry 80 for theory and 20 for internal assessment. Each theory paper is 3 hours and mixes MCQs, case-based questions and short and long answers.
